Project Overview

The Raska Project comprises the Kizevak and Sastavci past-producing zinc-lead-silver mines among numerous regional base and precious metal prospects.

Kizevak and Sastavci are two past-producing zinc-lead-silver open-pit mines discovered in 1976 and operated by the Yugoslav state intermittently between 1985 and 2000. Production from Kizevak is estimated at 2 Mt while Sastavci produced just 44 Kt. Mining ceased because of regional conflict. Historical exploration was also undertaken at the Karadak, Rudnica, Kremice East, Lipovica, Plavkovo and Bukovik prospects.
